Flying Kingfisher Again

I flew Kingfisher again, this time from Delhi to Chennai with all the nostalgia from the 2007 trip.
It was a neat airbus.
The ground service was great.
The menu card was great too. The menu looked really appetizing.
All the usual gifts, ‘the kingfisher pen’ etc. were duly given.
So was the lychee juice I think.
I dozed off before the plane tookoff in Delhi.
The airhostess woke me up politely to serve me dinner. As usual, I admired the efficiency with which food was served.
Alas, the food was nothing to write home about.
For the price they charge and the premium status they maintain, Kingfisher can afford to pay attention to the quality of dinner they serve.
I checked with friends. Yes, Kingfisher’s tiffin is a lot better than their oriental dinner.
